Extra-fine silver filigree work decorates this beautiful silver wishbone cuff bracelet. The Nepalese silversmiths really excel at filigree and this piece is no exception. The final oxidised finish gives it a gorgeous soft patina and the unique shape looks amazing as a stand alone piece.
Filigree worked metal has been discovered in Greece and surrounding areas, stretching back over 3000 years but it is unknown if the Nepalese learnt this technique from migrant Greeks who settled on the continent or developed the style independently. Either way, the Nepalis have retained their very own designs and styles.
