Caring For Your Silver Jewellery
We recommend that customers remove jewellery before going to bed or participating in physical activity. Exposure to certain chemicals such as detergents and soaps - even perspiration, perfumes, cleaning products and salt water - may impact the structure of your jewellery. We suggest removing jewellery when in contact with any of the above.
Cleaning Your Jewellery
Inspired Tribe encourage customers to use a silver polishing cloth to shine your pieces up. Over time, silver jewellery will dull naturally so it is good to regularly give pieces a clean to keep them nice and shiny. It's also important to note that polishing cloths will not remove scratches in jewellery. Toothbrushes are a great tool for cleaning jewellery with intricate detail. We recommend using a clean toothbrush to do this.
Storing Your Jewellery
Jewellery should be stored away from natural sunlight and heat, in a lined jewellery box or a soft pouch. Avoid leaving and storing your jewellery in the bathroom as over time, the moisture can dislodge stones. Chains should always be stored lying flat or preferably hanging to avoid kinks and knots.
